Every Wednesday thru September 1st

The 'Greendale Guys' will meet at 8 am for 'coffee and'.  Those
wishing to stay are needed for painting projects and items needing
to be completed on the building 'putz list'.  For more info contact
Steve Lindberg at (508)842-8489 or the Church office.

 

Summer Camp at Selah

Camp Selah is used as a Day Camp, run by GPC, for the first 2 weeks
in August.  There children leave GPC every morning and return every
afternoon.  While at Day Camp, the students will learn about God, swim
do crafts, sing, play games, and have LOTS of fun!

Labor Day Weekend Youth Conference

Labor Day Weekend is always a special time as high school students take part
in our annual Conference.  During this weekend, the young adults grow as
young Christians and strengthen friendships that last a lifetime.  Special guest,
story-teller Bert Marshall will present the gospel of Mark on Saturday night.

 

"Ask the Pastor" Sunday, September 5th at 8:30 & 10:00 Services

During the summer you will have the opportunity to write down questions you
may have regarding Christian faith, Greendale People's Church or other relevant
questions.  On Sept. 5th, Pastor McCarthy will attempt to provide answers as time
permits.  (Note:  This is NOT "Stump the Pastor", though you just might!)

 

Magic Show and Ice Cream Sundae Night, Friday, Sept. 10th

Open to the public and at no charge.  Bring the whole family for some fun and
sweets.  Sign-ups for our all-new Sunday School will also take place this night.
Don't be shy, invite your neighbors and friends to join the fun too!

Men's Bible Study Start Sunday September 19th, 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Our goal is to help each other get through the day-to-day grind of life by
applying Christ's teachings and helping each other become better Christians.
Even if you have never thought of joining such a group, give this one a try,
you may be surprised at the outcome.  Look for signup sheet in Fisher Hall

 

Sunday, September 19th Guest Speakers address Housing Crisis

The financial crisis of losing one's home is faced by many local families.  During
the 10:00 AM service Miguel A. Rivera, the Director at Neighbor WorksR
Home-Ownership Center of Worcester and Rev. Bob Bachelder, Minister and
President of the Worcester Area Mission Society will speak to the
seriousness of the issue.

 

Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th

Let's not forget our annual trip to New York to visit our friends at Peoples United
Methodist Church.  Space is still available.  Please contact Stephanie Kissiday
